Who I Am | Meghan Bailey

My name is Meghan Bailey; I've lived in Las Vegas since 2005. I grew up in a small town and have always had a passion for people. When I moved to Las Vegas, I had $200 and slept in my car. I've worked and learned at every opportunity to get to where I am today.

I love marketing because it gives me the chance to tell a story, to connect people and grow relationships.  I put my heart and soul into everything I do and truly take ownership of the brand. Nothing is overlooked. I love to listen to consumers of all ages and produce content or campaigns that make sense to them.

I launched a lifestyle blog to refine my writing skills. I had over 3.5 million views throughout my blog's lifetime and now I continue to write for various blogs and publications in order to always stay proficient.

I'm passionate about marketing, connecting with consumers on an emotional level, and I'm not afraid to take calculated risks. If you don't learn how to fail, you'll never have the drive to succeed beyond expectation.

I love to create and produce ideas that can be used to cultivate a community around passion, friendly competition, and grit. Working in marketing and communications for over fourteen years, I have a great grasp on how to connect to each generation, because face it, they can all be a fickle bunch.

In my personal life, I am an advocate for Autism and tweens/teens who experience homelessness. Each holiday season I work to secure sponsors to give holiday gifts and groceries; to date, I've been able to give a holiday celebration to over 1,000 kids. I love to help teachers. In my previous position I created "Shop With A Teacher", a program giving teachers in CCSD a $500 gift card to shop for their school year needs. That program as I left had helped over 50 teachers raising $25,000. On the weekends you will find me bouldering outside in our beautiful Red Rock Canyon area, watching documentaries or at the ice rink watching my son play hockey.
